PRESIDENT

Michael Glasser founded the company in Charleston, WV and today operates it out of Asheville, NC. The Charleston office shares space in the historic Washburn building with Meyer, Ford & Glasser, PLLC, the law firm where Michael began practicing in 1999. Prior to starting Washburn Property & Contracting over 10 years ago, Michael's law practice focused on trial work, with an emphasis on environmental, consumer and general litigation cases.

Michael is a licensed contractor as well as managing member of his law firm. He is a former member of the West Virginia Board of Treasury Investments, manages the individual investment pools and accounts of the state’s Consolidated Fund, under authority of the West Virginia Treasury Investments Act. The Consolidated Fund invests the state's short-term operating funds, and provides the opportunity for local governments to participate in large investment pools.

CFO/EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT

Keri is thoughtful, analytical and compassionate and brings all of those qualities to the table in her work handling the company’s finances. In addition to those responsibilities, Keri is also the person who ensures the company’s operations run smoothly Nationwide as she is also involved in all aspects of Washburn’s operations, including personnel, finance and operations.

Keri is a native of Asheville, where she lives with her two children.

VICE PRESIDENT, BUSINESS OPERATIONS MANAGER

Kris started out with the company working in both welding and general construction projects. In the field, Kris applied skills he learned working in a variety of areas, including road repair, bridge restoration and general contracting. He also gained invaluable experience during his work on a multi billion dollar infrastructure electrical distribution power line installation where he ran crews in different areas of the project. Kris has an old school mentality of believing hard work yields results. That is why today he is the business operations manager for the company and is responsible for work across the country. Kris is married to Melissa and they have two young children.
